Did I say this next post would be about something other than Doctor Who? Oh, well. I'm waiting on Dad to be ready to watch Amy's Choice with me, so I thought I'd take the time to post some thoughts on Vampires Of (In?) Venice. (My resolve to wait for BBCA was recently broken by the following factors: 1. BBCA randomly decided to take a week off?? ( Read more... )

For once you got the bad news before I did this series. Poor Rory. I agree, he definitely added loads of much-needed humanity into Doctor-Amy dynamic. Which is why it hurt even more when he was turned into time-crack chow.

he beginning scene is cute and funny, just the right amount of Doctor douche with an added bit of cluelessness because, seriously, Eleven is a lot like a drunk toddler.

Well, that may very well be true about lackluster writing. But the thing is, at what point does one stop forgiving bad writing? I mean if nine episodes in a row are written lacking good characterization, is it then time to say that series 5 had bad characterization, or that Eleven is lacking as a character? It's been frustrating me for quite some time, as you can tell. Hahaha. Though I am excited for "Vincent" because everyone seems to love it. :D

Ugh, Angel Bob.

UGH, THE MILL. I just don't understand that at all. They're usually so on!
