I am grateful today for...

Spring in West Virginia! It is so beautiful outside. Yes, the rain required for that beauty is making our backyard a mud-pit and our dog a mud-foot, but the results are so gorgeous. I wish the camera was in working order - I'd go for a walk around our neighborhood and take pictures of everything blooming right now. There are flowers, of course, tulips, daffodils still hanging on, phlox (pink and purple), and all kinds of others I don't know the names of, and then there are tons of mini-trees with gorgeous blooms on them (everything from tiny pink flowers to huge purple blossoms that cover cars when the petals fall) that I've not had exposure to before coming here (Texas has little trees called mesquite trees (really shrubs) and then bigger ones in East Texas, but not many blossoms besides bluebonnets 2 weeks out of the year). And, there are also larger trees that look like little clouds, covered in delicate light pink and white flowers. And, there are shrubs and trees that have leaves that start out a bright color like yellow-gold and rusty red, then turn to green as it goes into summer. So cool! I love being able to see them all. It just lifts my spirits when I see color all around. God really speaks through nature here. I love it. :)

I got my blood work done again this morning. I should know in a day or so how I'm doing with the blood sugar stuff. I guess we'll see.

I'm still dealing with bronchitis, but I have energy today, so I'm using it! About to start studying for the first time in weeks! And, I got a bunch of paperwork done and paid on some medical stuff. So far, so good. Feeling very productive today.

Listening to Yahoo! Music and this one is just speaking to me today - take the back roads to find something to enjoy!

Have a great day, Everybody! Love to family!
