I've had a rough few weeks, so I haven't even entered my office, much less posted (and, just as a warning, this one is pretty much filled with complaints).
I've been dealing with a migraine for a week. Thankfully, it's only been strong here and there, and then only a 7 or so in pain. We think it's due to my not being on my blood pressure medicine for a while and my body not catching up to being back on it yet.
I also have had a single spot on my lower left back that's been hurting constantly. It's like someone took all the nerves and muscles in that spot out of my back, crumpled them all up in a messy ball and tossed them back in. NOT fun. *sigh* I've also been depressed more than usual, but Tom has helped me shake out of it when it's gotten bad.
I've been feeling overwhelmed BIG TIME lately. I have so many craft projects up in the air right now, and I'm trying to fit them into "regular" life, whatever that means. I think I'm going to talk to Mom about lessening that just a little bit with one of the projects. Hmmm...
I'm starting the mail-ins for Lesson 9 today. Yeah, I'm still there. *sigh* I haven't made ANY progress on studying while I've been out of it the last few weeks. It just had to wait. I can barely stand the sound of pounding keys right now - it would've been worse even yesterday.
Chloe (our cat) seems to be having so many pee fits lately that she hasn't smelled like UN-pee for quite a long time. I feel so bad for her. I love on her despite the smell (it's not HER fault) and try to wipe her down with a wet cloth now and then, but it's pretty bad. She's found a new resting spot in a corner of the living room, so it's driving my hypersensitive nasal passages bonkers whenever I'm in there. At this point, I really have no idea what to do. We spray her down with a leave-on flea spray every once in a while, and I haven't seen her scratching as much. I really don't know what to do to make her happier, though. I'm at a loss and feel like a terrible mommy. *sigh*
Our house is overrun with mice. It's so gross. We caught two in one day with traps, but hear them scurrying around in the kitchen all the time behind stuff. *sigh* We've set some more traps, but it's getting REALLY old dealing with this on a regular basis. Blech.
Okay, that was cheerful. Eh. Back to work.
