Having a Good Day :)
Hi Everybody!
Some of you may know that today is my birthday. I am so excited for this year. My dad and stepmom are wonderful about sending me money for my birthday, and this year I put it to good use - I bought myself a bike! :) I haven't ridden a bike in a looooong time, but I'm so excited to start. I feel like my explorable neighborhood has just opened up. I can now get downtown, to the city park, to restaurants, to the river. The possibilities are endless. So - the rest of this year is going to be about me getting my butt in gear and getting ACTIVE. So - yay!
Tom got me flowers today. :) He brought them when he came home for lunch. Beautiful purple, great smelling pretty flowers. Isn't he a sweetie pie?? :) Cheered me right up! :)
Everybody has made a point of telling me happy b-day today or yesterday, and I so appreciate it. Love to all my family! You are so wonderful! I'm so blessed to be part of this family (both mine and Tom's!). :)
Thank you, friends, for all your love, too. I'm going to relax the rest of my b-day and write on my '09 NaNo book at the library. Hope you have as great a day as I'm having! :)
