Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous, and today is, too, so I've taken advantage of it and am gardening my little heart out. It's so much fun! We got some woodchips to put around the perimeter of the backyard to keep "mudfoot" (Abby) from tracking in every bit of squishy stuff from outside when it rains, and I got a little extra to use in the front. I'm sorry I don't have pictures yet, but it is so much fun! I put some border stones around the trees and house a few years ago, and I've spent the last two days weeding like crazy and am about to do some planting. I bought some irises and have a few rogue lilies from last year (they're growing far away from the others, so I'm going to *attempt* to relocate them). And, I also bought one of those wildflower mixes, and I'm going to surround the planted areas with the woodchips. Wish me luck! I'm definitely not an expert at this stuff, but it's so much fun this time of year! Oh, and I trimmed back my butterfly bush. It's Spring! Yay!
Hope you're having a great day! Love to everybody!
Cristy
