I agree with the missionary's position!
The weather is a tab bit better today. Its still windy and rainy but nothing on the scale of yesterday. There was a train still sitting at my local station this morning from the afternoon and they were only running the Gourock line. So I had a little bit of a walk down to get a train. Ended up messing up my cinema plans cus I got there way after the showing of Thor I wanted to make had started. BUT! When I got to the cinema I noticed that all the showings of Thor and one of the screens of PotC in 3D were completely sold out for the whole day. I think they must have had trouble with the screens. A while ago we had horrible weather and parts of the roof came in. I assume this was what had happened. It meant I could only see Pirates. But OMG ITS AMAZING!
At the start as soon as I saw Cadiz, Spain I was like LOL BEEN THERE! Jack's for scene was amazing! As soon as he said Smith I was like OMFG JACK WHAT YOU UP TO KNOW YOU CRAZY BASTARD?! He was getting Gibbs out of a hanging thats what! :D When Barbossa showed up and I nearly gave a scream! I was that excited :D Also I LOVED that they had Gillette and that other little officer guy back! One of them was a Lieu[left!]tenant Commander and I nearly giggled my face off XD Also the whole time they were looking for the ship and the fountain I was like THEY'RE IN HAWAII THEY'RE IN HAWAIIIIIII! :D
The escape scene in the palace was great. Those cakes that Jack was lusting after did indeed look most delicious!
Barbossa and his little navy crew were fab. Although I had myself asking where Norrington was before that made me sad. Oh James! You're still okay in my head canon! The sword fights were of course, grand! I thought the one with Real and Fake Lady Jack was best. Mostly for the hilarity :D
The man candy was fantastic. Johnny is his stunning self and Philip! *swoons* I mean check him out. What a cutie!
The Queen Ann's Revenge! What a boat! I want one! It was amazing how Lovejoy Blackbeard had all the little shippies in bottles :D THE PEARL OMG! I was so gutted when old Hector said it was gone but thank fuck he was telling porkies!
The mermaids I absolutely adored! Like vampires of the sea! Their design was just beautiful and they were so badass :D Syrena was just so gorgeous and I loved that she had legs on land. The zombie guys were cool too. Proper old school zombies instead of biological outbreak type zombies :p
The end was all very I SMELL SEQUELS! If they're more stand alone like this one then carry on :D I mean what has become of Philip and his lovely mermaid? Angelica said that it wasn't the end of their business shall we say as Jack marooned her and Barbossa is likely to kick lots of ass on his shiny new boat :)
I walked out of the cinema with the hugest grin on my face. People must have thought I was nuts. But I of course did not care! It felt like the original. In my head canon the other two films just didn't happen and Will and Lizzie are happily married and off doing their own thing. This is just a few years down the line and everything is beautiful and nothing hurts! D: It also felt really weird not seeing it with Kate. I've seen all of the Pirates films with her from the start. I has a sad :(
I went wandering cus I had a while to kill before the next PotC showing. Which is leathal cus I will end up spending money. I had a Thor shaped hole in my heart to fill! I was wearing the worst choice of skirt ever for the wind. It kept blowing up! D:
First I hit H&M. I got a tiny trilby! I had a tiny top hat so why not? :D
Next was John Lewis. I do not know what drew me in there but I headed down to the toys and got this little lovely :D
How sweet is she?! I need to unbox her and the other lovely Blythe mini I have.
Then I hit the Disney store. Still holding out hope for Naveen. Instead I found NONRAPEFACE FLYNN! :D SOOOOO HAPPY!
And he comes with a little slide in crown! SO WEARING THAT!
I got a shiny bag in Disney too :D I had a couple of other bits like my hat and Littlest Pet Shop so I thought why not?
The pocket inside has zombie man on it!
When I was waiting in the queue to pay I could hear the Pirates soundtrack and was getting totally teared up! I'm standing in the middle of the Disney store practically crying like a right idiot! XD
I also got more of that nail effects stuff but in pink this time and I bought a red eyeliner for the sole purpose of being a complete and utter loser XD
I just finished having poached eggs and toast for dinner. I love eating toast with a knife and fork, its fun XD Still desperate to see Thor. My sister has even seen it! :| And shes now looking foward to the Avengers me thinks. She came into my room this morning and asked how to spell avengers :p Then she proceed to say OMG CHRIS HEMSWORTHS BODAAAY and I'M SO EXCITED. I was both proud she might be slightly converted to my ways and rageface that she had seen it before me XD
I came home to find that my dad had hoovered my floor. But in the process he moved all of my ironing pile onto my bed :| Its kinda good in a way cus if I want to sleep tonight I have to get it put away. Its been lying for weeks and I've been just ignoring it :p Also I might as well get under my desk tidied as well! I know what I'm doing with my day off tomorrow!
