Sunday I cut and moved sod.
Fuck. that. shit. Seriously. Hunt was like, "Y'know, I could just Round-Up that patch for you." and I was all, "But...my organic sensibilities." So I spent the afternoon clearing a patch in the backyard and planted some of my tomatoes and some red onion seedlings that I got at the Farmers Market on Saturday. The Lafayette Farmers Market is pretty average, in my opinion. It's weird because there don't actually seem to be that many farmers. There was one stand with eggs and seedlings and those people also do a CSA and I'd imagine they'll have more stuff as the season progresses, but the rest of the booths were baked goods and soap and candles and clothes and other inedible things. :/ There's another one on the west side during the week, but it's difficult for me to ride my bike there. Maybe I'll suck it up and drive.
Speaking of riding my bike, I have been doing it like a fiend. I freaking love it. Lovelovelove. The weather has been perfect for it, as well.
AND MOST IMPORTANTLY OF ALL:::
