(no subject)
I am planning my garden. This is my first real garden. Tim and I grew peas this past summer, but they grew more out of luck and gracious NZ weather than really any skill or effort on our part. I am trying to decide what to plant. I think definitely tomatoes because they're supposed to be retardedly easy to grow. Probably also spinach because I eat a lot of it and basil so I can have pesto. And also a few eating pumpkins because you can't buy them in grocery stores around here and I love, love, love pumpkin soup. Butternut squash soup just isn't the same. What else? At the moment I am doing what I do best: reading books on the topic. I should get to ordering seeds soon...hopefully tomorrow night.
