Weekend Update
Well, as far as I'm concerned it's still Sunday so I'll give a little update about my weekend.
Saturday was good. I had a good day at work, as I mentioned earlier, which was nice. After work Steve, Jilli, and I went and played pool up at All-Star for an hour or so. The we headed to Steve's co-workers house to have some punch and make some new friends. We had a great time! Except this one guy there who was pretty creepy, but hey you kant let one person ruin an overall good time. So we hung out drank some kick ass punch, watched chess games before heading home to bed. Thank you Jilli for being our DD!!!
Today was church day. Then we went and had dinner at Friday's for my Mom's birthday which is tomorrow. When we got home Jill and I sat down to watch the movie Midnight Cowboy. It's a really weird movie and I'm still not sure what the point of it was. It won something like three Acadamy Awards when it came out in 1969, but I just didn't get it. In fact, I think I might have taken more away from Terminator 3 than I did from the aforementioned film. It does have some superb performances by the, very young, John Voight and Dustin Hoffman. Other than that I don't think I would really recommend rushing out to rent it.
Well, it's late so I best be gettin off to bed. Hope everyone else had a good weekend! Don't forget tomorrow's Monday night at the raw bar. Come on out if you can make it!!!!
