I awoke at 0430 for no good reason. I hit the sheets shortly after midnight -you’d think I could get six hours at least -no alarm set either.
After a little TV/reading, I failed to fall back asleep. Couldn’t even muster a nap this afternoon.

Logging in and reviewing turnover, I immediately see that the first day of being On-call is damned. We had a repair action tonight on a box that's got a dicey history.

What little consumption for NYE that was planned was cancelled.
