October 24th - things are finally live for the new data replication design but the cutover from New England to Deep South is November but things are winding down.

I was “offline” this weekend in the InfiddlevestCorp rotation.

No work. No family drama. Nowhere to be. Nothing going on.

I embraced nothingness and relaxed with the exception of going to gym on Saturday.

Walking through the parking lot to my apartment complex’s recycling bins with two cases worth of empty beer bottles, I saw an old man [late 60s] at the curb shuffling amongst a briefcase and some grocery bags. Briefly, it looked like he was deciding what to take and when -under control.

I'm torn on the attending Abb's funeral due to HermanoDiablo's graduation. I think I can find balance in that they're morning & afternoon. A day like that will probably have no hallucinogen equivalent.

The new year truly begins tomorrow with me doing some new things -a rearranged schedule but I'm still planning out the year. Intentions, vacation, etc.

Tonight I found out that a woman I briefly dated, died in 2006 from cancer. She must have been diagnosed not long after we stopped dating. Odd and sad - 38 years old is too young to die. Especially ( Read more... )
