Final project phase kicked off at 0530 and in case you're thinking of trying -don't get up at 0430, it sucks.
Especially on a Saturday.
After isolation, prep and the targeted systems were down, Weird Herald [VP] cuts in the conference call and halts the migration.
Not giving too much away -two systems weren't meant to be down at the same time. Never mind 6 months notice of this day with
weekly meetings. All before 0800. Change pushed, systems restored.
Thermal Exhaust Port Issue
This configuration issue shouldn't have existed in the first place. Technically, this qualifies as a 50% failure boundary.
It needs to change and probably will unfold outside of the processor migration due to depth/complexity.
Best of all, it's not my group's fault. Waiting for decisions as to re-try with original scope or execute serially.
Next weekend is month end -not going to happen. Weekend after that is 4 o' July -probably not going to happen.
Slept when I got home, came to life around 1400-ish. Going to play with MIDI tonight.
