05032013 Day 5 of Captivity
No calls. I slept as normal people do who're coming off a 2 hour time zone change.
Odd on/off but solid enough for the day's toil.
Issues kept me busy all day, a couple which shouldn't have:
1. Switch zoning. Ports missing prevented drives being accessed for the DR exercise.
Our contractor should've audited and fixed this based on the migration issues.
2. Router change impact assessment. I brought two changes to everyone's attention and little was done. I think one change is bound
to impact us deeper than thought but I'm going to let it happen. No time to really dig and it's just part of the remote tape.
Someone else is covering the change anyway.
Now to kill time by moshing for two hours around the block until the machines call me to say they’re broken.
