Pterosaurs Circle over Petabytes 08042012
Compressed weekend with me being on-call back-up [Wallair is in military reserve{waste}]
and I'm personally overseeing fiber connectivity of the first wave of storage boxes tonight.
And...I fly out to Cali-forn-I-A on Sunday for a SHARE convention, a “happening” for
“mainframe professionals with continuous education and training, valuable professional networking
and effective industry influence”.
It gets me the F.U.C.K. out of the office and leaves some of the drudgery to the other staff members.
Although...I will be on-call during this time -expenses paid.
Out and About in Dallas
Determined to have a anti-routine set of events, I headed to the Bishop “arts disctrict”, re: shitty parking,
for some BBQ and sights. Bonus was an antique store catering to men and wisely offering free beer.
Few things are paused due to unknowns but presently, the storage migration plods forth
and the Pterosaurs continue to circle...
