Saturday's theme: Epic Shark Date Night - the lady digs sharks and that makes
planning easy. Luck came into play as well.
Dinner: Dodie's Cajun -bonus as she used to live nearby and loves the place.
Napalm-like bread pudding; don't eat near open flame.
Gift: Jawesome T-shirt
Beer: Landshark Lager
Snack: Gummy Sharks [blueberry flavor]
Flick: Sharktopus - so bad it's good.
Trivia, Cannibalism and Cake
Sunday, we took advantage of Trinity Hall's birthday discount [% based on age -food only] and most of our friends
met us there for food, pints and a nice chocolate cake from Henk's Blackforest Bakery. Funny thing about the discount
-there was a table there featuring someone celebrating their 100th bday.
I opted for the largest cake in order to cover the bases: friends, staff and anyone nearby whose sweet-tooth took over.
Assurbanipaul, Morris729 and I debated a trivia question [Sunday is trivia night at the pub] concerning the Donner Party
which turned the discussion into a movie title I couldn't remember.
Luckily, a person nearby overheard and jogged my memory, “Cannibal: The Musical”.
As cannibal references etiquette dictates, they were rewarded with cake.
