BigBang Source Post 2011
This is an extended thank you to people and sites that provided inspiration and material for my Big Bang Artwork, which you can find here and here!
For backgrounds and brushes in my BigBang Artwork I use photos I made myself**, for images of the actors who play a part in the stories, I often make screencaps. However: I try to avoid using character shots if the story is RPS and since I've sadly not had the opportunity to put those guys in the necessary poses take actual photos of those actors, I find what I need on the world wide web...
Sources and helpful sites
As usual I found it to be impossible to mention all the sources I used; some of my photos from Jensen Ackles, Jared Padalecki, Jeffrey Dean Morgen, etcetera, come from the huge archive of pictures that I have collected for my personal pleasures;) Plus sometimes I forget to keep track during my frantic Google searches. If you notice original material that you are the owner of or know the origin of, tell me and I will credit!
Obviously credit goes to the original photographers, but their names are often no longer attached to the photos, so instead I would like to thank the following sites for providing photos of well known and famous actors.

For this story about a virtual world I made illustrations of binairy codes myself, but I also used pictures from the following sites and photographers:

For this story about John Winchester from Supernatural, I didn't only use screenshots from that TV-series. The character is portrayed by Jeffrey Dean Morgan and to capture more facial expresions than John's eternal moodiness, I made screencaps of the following DVDs as well:
The Losers / P.S. I Love You / CSI:Crime Scene Investigation S4Ep2 All For Our Country
For Dean in front of the US flag I used a promotional photo of the play A Few Good Men and then changed the uniform. (Jensen Ackles appeared as LT Kaffee alongside Lou Diamond Phillips as Col Jessep in a production of the play at the Casa Mañana Theatre, in Fort Worth, Texas, June 5-10, 2007.)
Other military related images were found on the forums of MilitaryPhotosNet and LeatherNeck
I hope I used the proper uniforms and decorations.
To get into the right mindset I got some background info on the Supernatural canon and John's character from The Supernaturalwiki and the JDM tag at deceitfulangel's livejournal:)
I once again found useful images on stock.xchng (thank you, RAWKU5 and David Ritter)
However, the best resource I discovered was the aptly titled Tumblr Fuck Yeah, Hot Men With Dog Tags \o/ (NSFW!!)
