My Harry Potter Marathon Weekend
I'm having a luxury breakfast while catching up with the flist; I bought so much food to feed my friends who came over for the Harry Potter Mega Marathon Weekend, I'll be having awesome meals for weeks :-)
Organizing this past weekend has been one of the reasons I haven't been around on lj much. But be aware of my return; this afternoon I will post my first BigBang artwork of 2011!
Before that I want to share some of the fun I had with my Potter Posse: here are photos of all of us huddling up in my attic to watch seven films on the big screen.
Harry Potter Mega Marathon Weekend
First, let me show you around my house:
I decorated the entrance of my apartment with Harry Potter hankies and wands for everyone.
Up in the attic I made a little HoneyDukes corner.
We had all kinds of magic-related candy, such as: licorice in the flavours Troll, Witches and Werewolves, magic balls that change colour in your mouth and edible paper. Silvia had made chocolate frogs again and I had brewed Mulled Mead!
The program:
Saturday July 16
I watched The Philosopher's Stone by myself and was joined for lunch by Sil and Tan before we watched the next three films together:)
Sunday July 17
Hans, Jelle, Benthe and Gayleen joined our PotterPosse and together we watched films 5, 6 and 7. *sniffles*
I had made Butter Beer!
Ready for The Order Of The Phoenix!
Afterwards we wiped away our tears and put on a brave smile for an alp photo;)
Some of the edible pieces of paper had tongue tattoos on them....
...which we of course all had to try :-)
Such a brilliant weekend \o/
Tonight I will finally get to experience the final Potter film, together with Hans, Jelle, Benthe and Silvia... DUNDUNDUN....
