I got a bit of a bodyshock on Sunday, and I'm finding it hard to think about and talk about but it's affected me profoundly so I want to post to the wider stratosphere to see what you say

How old is this woman? Could it possibly be early-onset dementia?

PTSD is certainly possible, but I think it's even more likely that all of the various medications may have altered her brain chemistry.

she would be of an age where such a body trauma/depressing event could bring on the onset of something like a dementia.... common to DAT and MID I believe. *dredges gerontology memory*

I had wondered that. It's the destruction of the self of her that's the most scary to see.

It sounds to me honestly more like "chemo brain". It can be really distressing.
