New York ladies…
Where can I take my wedding/engagement ring to be polished? My bands could use some serious buffing. Years ago I saw one of those 20/20 news specials where jewelers switched stones so now I have a major phobia of this happening to me. When I was in Ohio I was speaking with a jeweler and he mentioned that if I polish the band I also need to get a coating put on the metal. Anyone know what I’m talking about and can all of this be done while I wait.
I think we are going to get photos taken of Graycen and then some of us (or at least me and Graycen). Freds crappy with a camera and I want some photos of me and my baby while he’s still a baby. I’m not into traditional photos, looking for someone more modern, whimsy… maybe edgy. Any New Yorkers seen images they love?
Purses
I was in Bloomingdales the other day killing time before an appointment by looking at purses. Not sure I need a new purse - kinda sorta do and kinda sorta just want one. Coach had some cute things but damn! they seem so much more expensive then I remember. This is coming from someone who tends to be willing to splurge on handbags. Say what you want but I love any sort of fashion that doesn’t require me to divulge my size. BUT $500 for a Coach purse seemed like more then I recall them costing. I had several Coach purses in college and there was no way I was paying that much. Did something change?
This looks boring but in person it made me swoon. The green is soooo perty and the inner lining was a beautiful pale green.
This bag was cute but I’d probably end up hating it since it looks like the kind of bag where everything gets lost at the bottom.
I liked this one as well but it seemed HUGE.
Has anyone seen the new Gucci purse with the NY logo in person? I haven’t but they look hideous in the street ad’s. I feel bad saying that since I’ve learned that profits are being donated but I’m not a fan. It probably makes no sense but when I see the red/white/blue I think football?? What the hell is wrong with me.
OMG! I was just doing a search for the Gucci purse and came across a message board devoted to handbags. Sorta like CC/WC with forums for Gucci, LV, Dior. Do people really have that much to say about purses? I’m scared to open an entry. I mean, what if I see “Queen of the Coolest - 6,152 posts.”
Graycen
Yesterday I laughed, didn’t do anything just laughed, so Graycen started laughing. He’s a riot. And he doesn’t actually know how to laugh just yet so it sounds more like he’s coughing but he isn’t. And he smiles at ANYONE who smiles at him. I love it cause total strangers feel so special. Like they feel all grand about themselves because they made my kid smile just by smiling at him. I can tell they feel good for having accomplished this and I never tell them that he basically does this ‘trick’ for anyone.

Can I mention that I want a chocolate muffin REALLY bad! I have a wicked sweet tooth and a belly to show for it. I want a muffin - NOW.
