Home on a Saturday

I do love hanging out at home so it isn't a huge suprise that I'm home today but I actually can't leave if I wanted to. We have two deliveries that were scheduled for two completely different 4 hour windows. Lovely.

So the inevitable is starting to happen and cash is flying out the window. The good thing is, this means we’re working on our list of things to do. I ordered our entertainment center, which should come today. Monday we got a dead bold added to our front door, hey - this is New York. I also ordered a bunch of photos that need to be scrap booked (or at least taped into an album).

This morning our new TV arrived. Since I can’t trust Fred to research anything I pretty much picked out the TV. I would never admit this to anyone in real life but a big part of the final picking had to do with the TV’s beauty. What you can’t see in this photo is that it has a satin piano black finish. It’s so sexy and stylish that I fell in love with it at first site. It didn’t hurt that the TV itself has gotten good reviews so all in all a win win situation.

I’m a huge fan of Kolo photo albums and the Cortina collection has quickly become my favorite. It was so hard to decide on a color but I finally took the easy way out and picked up two albums in the black and baby blue combination. Both arrived yesterday and I plan to make them the new home to all the photos I took of our IVF process.

I’m loving this combo if we were having a baby girl and I scrapbooked the first year.

For the babies room I got these super cute hangers that were on sale. It might be a bit hard to see but my two favorite are the dog and monkey. They are just as cute in person… so much so I am wondering if I should order more. They are on sale and even so I think they are a bit much and granted I seem to think we can have a baby without a big baby wardrobe but here I am ready to plop more down on over priced “on sale” hangers. Why does some of this stuff have to be so cute?
