My prayer for this bridal shower is that The older (marriage years) women will share with the younger women to love their husbands and their children, to live wisely and be pure, to take care of their homes, to do good, and to be submissive to their husbands. So that they will not bring shame on the word of God. This will be fun.
If submissive means giving into sex on occasion to the husband who keeps nagging you “for a piece” and finally you just want them to SHUT UP…. then by all means, knock yourself out. I’ve done it. Granted, I don’t think that was entirely how they meant that.
Fortunately, this will occur too close to my IVF transfer date so I won’t be attending.
