What do you call a black guy who flies a plane?

Yeah, so I studied a few hours today. I'll be honest, I do not feel as though I prepared the best I could have for this exam. However, there is a choice one must makes when it comes to exams. You can either dedicate yourself and work really hard or you can completely abandon your responsibilities and just wing it. Rationally it just makes sense that half assed studying is just a waste of time. You either master it and get an 85 or you go with what you know and pull a 65. Reviewing your notes once will help, but don't do it more than that. You aren't going to learn anything from reviewing notes multiple times. If you want the 85 you have to engage yourself in the notes...not just review them, learn them...learn what they represent. Or...you don't and you take a quick glance, grab the basics and go.

The basics:
-Collective Security (league of nations, possibly UN) vs. Collective Defense (NATO)
-Democratic Peace Theory (Liberal-Democractic States and especially Nation-States do not to war against one another...critical approach, they're a leader in imperial/colonial wars, they have only existed in the 20th century, it is not totally clear who qualifies).
-Realist Politics and the Balance of Power (A system that thrives on war and cannot be possible in today's society with a post-modern imperialist power like the US.)
-Sovereignty (it's many flaws)
-Terrorism (war on a tactic...)
-Security Communities (Eurpoean Union..."friends"...will not evoke war or threat on each other)
-Cold War Debates (Why did it end? First Image: Gorbachov Revolution, Second Image: Collapse of Communism, Third Image: Demise of Bipolarity...Basically in the end it all comes down to the "German Problem")
-Defence Economics (Military Industrial Complex)
-NATO (Deadism part I and II)
-Nation Building (Is it possible, 3 for 18 so far, what are its necessary conditions?)
-Origins of International Relations (First Image: Peace of Westphalia, Second Image: Demise of Secular Rule, Third Image: Fragmentation after Napolean's failure)

Yeah...I guess Livejournal is a decent enough study tool. That's what I got from my read through. I think I might go through once more, but I feel comfortable that I know my shit enough to get a 70 in the course. This exam is worth half the mark. Wish me luck.
