Cobras in the Cockpit

Last night bbwoof picked me up from work at about 7:30, and we went to Wei Hong for dinner. We sat with our books and the gingery garlicky goodness for an hour or so, taking the leftovers home.

At home we played Magic late into the night. (I'm learning how to play this game, and, at my request, we're still playing with single color decks so I can learn the mechanics better.) Then, after a break to finish up the leftover chinese food, we played a surprisingly fun new game: Cobras in the Cockpit.

I'm going to take a moment to plug Cobras in the Cockpit. I took a real chance on pre-ordering this game, but I'm glad I did. The game was fun, fast, and just challenging enough to keep us entertained for two hours. It's a clever parody of the concept of "Snakes on a Plane", with absolutely nothing scary or grotesque. (Unless you are so snake-phobic that a cartoonish line drawing will squick you.)
