spyridona let me borrow a cute Katara/Aang bunny, and it fits nicely with today's Kataang Week prompt. ^_^

Characters: Katara/Aang
Prompt: Skin

"Your feet are freezing!" Aang yelped and wriggled away from Katara. She was icy! They were up a mountain under a pile of blankets, and touching her was like leaning against a glacier!

Katara glared at him, then yanked the blankets tighter around her shoulders. "I told you I was a waterbender when you met me. We stay cold, Aang."

"You weren't this cold last winter!" Aang tugged at the blankets to get some for himself, wondering if he could ask the Mechanist for some more. Not that it'd really help since Katara was inside the blankets with him.

"Yes, I was. You just weren't touching me all the time!" Katara flung the blankets at him, causing him to squawk. "Take them! It's too hot in here, anyway!"

"Are you kidding? It was snowing earlier today!"

Katara scowled at him and crossed her arms. She was still all wrapped in her Water Tribe underwear, and maybe that was making the difference. "You call that snow? It was barely a powder. We'd be having blizzards now at the South Pole."

Aang had been a bit too busy with all kinds of other stuff to pay attention to how cold it had been at the South Pole. But thinking back on it, it had been really cold. Really, really like cold. Like Katara's feet right now. "... Okay?"

Katara chucked a pillow at him.

He ducked, of course, then pulled the blankets over his head to keep from giggling. She didn't look like she was in the mood for him to be laughing at her. At all.

Man, this was just like after the Comet when Mai couldn't decide if she wanted to hug Zuko all the time or that he was too hot to be allowed in the same room with her. Aang blinked. Ooh. It was just like that, and firebenders were naturally hot...

He concentrated on his firebending, trying to push red heat through his body without it exploding into flames. It didn't entirely succeed, and he had to quickly pat down the singed blankets, but...

He grinned and peeked out from under the blankets to find Katara had turned her back to him. Slyly, he reached over and pressed one warm hand to the middle of her back.

She groaned in pleasure and arched her spine. "Mmm, that's nice."

"Yeah," Aang said, admiring the way her skin moved under her pale wraps. He pressed himself to her back, legs tangling with hers, and buried his face in her hair. "I think it's nice, too."
