Gift to Myself
I enjoy commissioning artists. There's just something fun about the process of handing over money and instructions and getting something really awesome in return.
So I recently commissioned the lovely Astalythe for a graphite drawing of Haru as a Dai Li agent. This is available for view here.
I then asked my friend raikomotomiya if she'd be interested in coloring it. She very much was, and she produced an absolutely beautiful piece. I posted it in my own dA gallery with her permission, since she doesn't use dA.

There was a bit of a communications snafu (i.e. me forgetting to mention it at all to Raiko), so Haru's gauntlets and boots changed from metal to rock between the original version and the colored version.
