First sentence of the first journal entry of each month.
January: *gives in to the meme* Ganked from who knows how many people on my flist.
February: We had our first workshop critique session in English class today.
March: I have discovered something awesome to quest for, and his name is Battle Unicorn.
April: Started on my first repaint this weekend: PVC Paradron Medic as Drag Strip.
May: One of my favorite DragonballZ writers did a short on G1 Starscream's coronation.
June: Becca: *crawls out of bed, finds a clock* Sheesh, it's ten o'clock? Why have I been so tired lately?
July: Dear TFBlogs,
August: And Warpath is demanding I write him rather than this Astrotrain fic.
September: So, am safe and sound back at LSU after a riotous Labor Day weekend in Atlanta.
October: For the first time in a couple of years, I went down to the French Quarter to do some shopping.
November: Instead of doing NaNoWriMo this year, I'm declaring November to be my "Finish Some WIPs Month".
December: And now we see why I said I'd do flashfics rather than drabbles.
Personal Impressions: My journal makes it look a lot better than how I felt a lot of the time. The early part of the year wasn't so bad, but I sank into a malaise for most of the summer. Didn't have my period for three months either, which was really, really unhelpful in making me feel healthy.
Of course, it was in mid-to-late summer that I got asked to leave TFBlogs, and the emotions ran pretty high on either side there. That was seriously not fun. This led to me picking up TF2K5, which I can't say is a mistake but... I met a lot of people there that I'm glad to have met, but it's also led to a lot more grief on my part than TFBlogs ever did.
I did finally snap out of my grief-consumerism and seriously cut back on the amount of Transformer toys I was buying. That was pretty good, at least.
This fall semester has been not that great as far as my mental health goes. Some of you got to watch me meltdown last month, and I'm still picking up the pieces from that.
Basically, all the shit that happened in 2005 is still influencing me. Here's to hoping 2007 is stabler.
