Will this act as proof of Liff?

Not ded, really, really boring at present.

I haven't spoken about the Oscar Season 2012 - but the embedded video says a lot as far as I am concerned.

Posting this so a) I don't lose it. For someone who finds info for a living, I sure as heck have trouble keeping track of it sometimes (or at least, that's what I tell the students - it gets them to think about saving stuff. Pinboard is my friend, so let this be a secret between us, yes?)

b) I can watch it with sound. I have no speakers where I am right now and no headphones either

Also posting this here, because I'll forget it by October/November/When The Nominations Open...

Fandom to nominate for yuletide: Haywire (2012) (Dir: Steven Soderbergh)

Saw this in a *freezing* cold cinema earlier this month (no, really, it was, the heating had packed up! And it was on the tail end of Snowapocalyse 2012 too) but thoroughly enjoyed it. A spy/revenge flick with a female lead (the awesome Gina Carano) , who is *more* than capable of handling herself/whatever is thrown at her.

It also has a shopping list of gorgeous guys (including Baby!Obi-Wan and Baby!Magneto) in it as well, most of whom get their asses kicked from here to breakfast time next Tuesday.

Simply put - I want the further adventures of Mallory Kane. Or possibly a story where Paul has a change of heart (and most likely, career) and well... Shallow monster is very shallow!
This is not news.
