Jog on Winter!
Posting this as part memory and part 'I AENT DED!'...
Snow covers much of UK - which, as the article notes, led to travel chaos.
Such as one of the main tube lines being shut down and leading to a two hour door-to-door journey taking SIX hours. I'd prepared for most eventualities - just not *that* one
I went from a David Lynch double bill (Dune - where I *finally* noticed that Gurney does have a scar! Don't ask how long it's taken to realise that - it's embarrassing) and Blue Velvet to a Lynchian horror story of trying to get back home. All I will say on the matter is that London Bus Drivers are superstars, you would have been able to find Unicorn manure but not a taxi and Fiat Pandas are joys to drive. And seeing a poster for this movie just as I finished the half hour trudge back to Mr Spock was the thing I needed at that point.
For reals. Though I may wait a week or two before I go see it. Or wait for it to be released on DVD and see it in the Summer....
