So, yesterday, I posted (it was flocked because I was b*tching about a personal matter) about A Source On The Internet who stated that Neil Gaiman (god of writing and blogging) would be writing an episode of Doctor Who. I poo pooed this for two reasons.
i) If Neil was writing an episode - he is too much of a fan not to say *something*.
ii) Said source is a Former Aquaintance of mine. Of which, the less said the better. Read into that what you will; although I did note that he broke n00b rule #1 about posting meatspace data in a public, internet space.
Today - Neil showed
once again, that he is the Joint Most Awesome British Author* currently alive.
For the terminally lazy, the relevant bits:
Look, if it ever gets to the point where I know that I'm actually, definitely, for certain, writing an episode of Doctor Who, I'll post it here. In big red letters. Or green. You'll know when it happens, trust me. I may even get Maddy (Neil's daughter - B.) to write the entry for me, and include photographs of cats doing amusing things in it. It'll be a proper blog post. Promise.
If Gaiman does do an episode - I will be one of the first to holler the news from the rooftops but not until he says so. Rule #3 applies people!
*The other is, of course, Terry Pratchett.
