Recent Random Cool Things
Random Cool Thing #1 - got a call on Wed afternoon telling me I won $500 AAFES bucks in a drawing for Football Frenzy at the club. Funny thing is, I went to the club a grand total of ONCE during the "Football Frenzy" promotion. :) I believe a new, super-cool digital camera will be acquired with the winnings.
Random Cool Thing #2 - before the concert last night, Dave and I went to an Irish pub close to the arena so we could park there and walk to the show without paying for parking and dealing with the traffic after the show. While eating my delicious cheddar cheeseburger, I looked up and noticed a very familiar face. The person I saw was none other than Aidan Morgan - a guy I met the FIRST time I was in Korea (yeah, a cow's age ago - or more accurately, 13 years ago). He's TDY to MacDill for a few months working at SOCCENT and is STILL stationed in Germany (he went to Ramstein after Korea - like me - and then to Spangdahlem). And he totally recognized me. :)
