so i'll be real here, several weeks ago the go go said, "we didn't get to talk about you moving in because we were too busy listing all the reasons we don't want to live with your feline counterparts." but that is so amazingly ok because everything is going to work out even better in the long run. i had a meeting with the most wonderful man tonight and he is going to help me and jen and dylan buy a house. he's really knowledgeable and on his game, and so into housing co-ops. tonight after our meeting he sent me six different emails on how to read listings and use some city databases, and also some listings for mixed use! i might really get to have my restaurant dream. we're going on a bunch of walk-throughs on sunday. i'm hoping for a place that has an attached lot with good positioning for a greenhouse where we could grow a lot of our food.

i sort of can't believe this is happening. the timing depends, weirdly, on obama... but with the way things are moving and the way mike is talking about the market it seems like we could possibly be closing within a year. better get working on that structure business. also maybe starting to flesh out some technical documents on our ideal living situation. also signing up for numerous trainings on carpentry and other stuff i've been putting off learning.

best meeting ever.

also before the meeting jen and julius and i went to the arcade to be spontaneous and we played in the groove for forty minutes and it was the best and i think our house should buy one, when we have a house, and make the electricity to run it with bicycles. that spontaneous fun made us approximately four minutes late for the above-mentioned meeting, and it was so worth it.

also tomorrow morning i am going to the boston science museum with the freeschool (now officially named the raven coyote freedom school). this is my life for the next day and a half:

friday:
- boston science museum with really cool kids
- green jobs potluck
- sushi workshop
- jake and dylan's show

saturday:
- writing grants a lot of the day for really exciting stuff i love my job
- arcade
- printmaking workshop where i'm going to make a raven coyote freedom school print

and then sunday the house stuff! also brunch at one love where stephanie is going to serenade us. maybe more grants. did i mention that today i decided i wanted to lounge in bed with the cats and eat guacamole until 3 pm and work on saturday and sunday instead?

my life is so good and it only gets better from here. community, creative outlets (p.s. stay tuned for PUPPETROCKOPERA2K9), food and water (and juice) and sunny days and good people and free trips to museums that have bee exhibits(!), i am so blessed and i am so grateful.
