this has been the longest shortest week ever. so get this, we purchased a new copy machine because we were in dire need of a new one. the old one was like 80 years old and didn't like it if you wanted to make more than 5 copies at a time. our illustrious leader threw down the yuan to buy the simplest basic model available. this new copy machine, though basic is a tad bit fancier than the last one but only because technology has progressed since the steam engine and printing press. it looks a bit intimidating but it's not. but the poor chinos can't handle it, and here's where the problem begins. you see they can't figure out how to work the damn thing. it's not hard really, but the touch screen freaks them out like steak and potatoes i shit you not. really all you need to do is put the paper in, they even have the dimensions just like the old one, and you punch the numbers on the keypad like the old one and you push start. viola!!! pretty self explanitory. but noooooo.....that's much to hard to figure out. now instead of coming to me and saying "becky could you help me figure this out" so we could figure it out together, they go and complain about it. yeah they tattle about it, and i get in trouble for their stupidity and i have to stop what i'm doing and make a handout on the ins and outs of the fucking copier. it's my fault they don't know, it wasn't my idea to buy the damn thing. and what's the point really, so you complain so what? at the end of the day you still don't know how to use the goddamn machine! what did you accomplish? because i'll be damned if i'm gonna make you a handout. i'm done. game over man. game over.
i wasn't sure what pissed me off more the fact that i got in trouble for it or just the simple fact that the people i work with are next to useless. i don't know why i'm surprised really, these are the same people who ask kate about different chinese fonts to use.
