marketing ploys
okay so i went to american eagle yesterday and they had the crew-neck shirts i like. they're soft and cheap so i bought a couple and they were having people sign up for their rewards card. it's not a credit card but you swipe it when you purchase the products and you get so many points and at the end of their quarters they send you a statement summary of your points and you get however many percent off accordingly. they call it an "all access pass"...lame. anyhooo they don't just give you a plastic credit card thingy they give you one for you keys, two mini ones and if you happen to forget all of those they give you stickers!! yes. stickers. they're to put on you phone, mp3 player...whatever. they say just so long as they can scan it you get your points. the meaningless ends that clothing companies will go to advertise. i'm thinking this is interesting and i know for a fact that there are other retards like me who would put in on their asses or feet or some other inappropriate place. they have to scan it right?? imagine you go to pay for it...they say do you have your "all access pass"? and you say..."i got your pass right here..." proceed to drop trow. we'll see how long giving stickers out lasts.
