So I was watching Lady Gaga's video for Judas even though tbh the song could be better (I'd probably like it more if the way she does the AHHH-ah-ah noises or whatever didn't sound so awful and get repeated for half the damn song). And I couldn't help but notice that it looked like she was copying hide. o_o Here are a few side-by-side comparisons.

Notice the similar false nails, bandannas, long blonde hair, and dramatic eye makeup. CLOSET X JAPAN FAN Y/Y? Also worth pointing out is that way back when she did the Paparazzi video, there was a scene with three guys who also had a somewhat 90s!XJapan look to them:
