So recently I watched an anime called Puella Magi Madoka Magica. It's only 12 episodes long. It looks really cutesy so at first glance you might think it's a typical magical girl show, but it's actually pretty far from that. It's dark and actually quite depressing at times, but personally I like that about it because again, it keeps it from being typical magical girl stuff. Also the art is amazing, especially the backgrounds during the witch battles, and it turns out Yuki Kajiura did the music. =3
And there's so much cosplay potential. *A* I'm trying to decide whether I want to cosplay as Homura, Mami, or Madoka.
