getting home
My daughter has decided her life is now a non-stop musical. She sings about every action she is doing, "I'm riding in the car....la la la," "I'm brushing my hairyairyair....," etc. etc. Yes, this has been a very long week.
My family vacations always end up like a National Lampoon's Vacation movie. Did I mention we hit an owl? Well this time, on the way back to Fresno, we got lost in California grape vine, fruit tree country and were getting low on gas. So my dad decides we should stop and ask for gas from somebody and we pulled up to someone's house and they then lead us in their car to a gas station and they were willing to get us a gallon of gas and bring it to us if we ran out. Well, we didn't run out, but still it was rather ridiculous! I can't wait to see what tomorrow's travels have in store for us. :P
We made it to Fresno and are staying overnight at the Holiday Inn so we can get to the airport early for our flight. The Holiday Inn is calling their indoor pool area an atrium, but they aren't fooling me! It's a HOLIDOME!
