Save a horse ride a cowboy
I've never been to a guys baby shower before, but I think I like it better. Yesterday was Chad's baby shower and for 6 hours there was great food, beer, and poker. The only down side was all the pink that Chad now has to bring into his house. I think I almost put myself into an insulin coma because of all the cannoli's I ate, but it was totally worth it. His Mom did an amazing job of putting it all together and it almost makes me want to go out and have one of my own... almost. At the end of the evening we walk out to Sara's car to go home when she realizes she's locked her keys in her car. It's now snowing out pretty steadily and there's a snowball fight going on in the parking lot. About an hour later, after trying to use a large stick, an earring, and a piece of metal found in the back of someones car, AAA shows up and in about 5 minutes has her door unlocked and her keys in hand. Unfortunately, the alarm system is going off and it won't let her turn on the car or reset the alarm. So the evening ends with her battery unhooked and her car being towed away as the snow is pouring down. Not the best way to end an evening. I wonder who won poker....
