→ I have been ignoring pretty much everything lately and I have felt sort of neglectful, but it's also not my fault. Let me recreate a conversation I had, late one night:

Siobhan: So, I have a new theory.
Becky: Oh? *side-eyes*
Siobhan: In fact, it is perhaps better described as a cunning plan. Because I have a new theoretical (and CUNNING) ( Read more... )

This is why Pin is the best ever. The best ever.

HE IS. I thought I was the only one who understood WHY is so hilarious to torture Kazehaya like he does, ha ha. And yes, he should wear his hair down more often - he does in a recent very OMG GAME-CHANGING chapter of the manga and his hotness is out of this world. Though obviously I'm biased because he is like my favourite in the whole thing (well, Kurumi is but they are pretty close).

If I were in the series, I would probably spend as much time torturing Kazehaya as I could, too! IT'S ALWAYS SO MUCH FUN! I really want to start the manga (especially since I hear they left out little bits and pieces here and there?) but I'm wary of getting sucked into yet another monthly title when I can hardly stand to wait for weekly ones.

(I love Kurumi, too! Well, okay, I love everyone, but--!!)

I love Kazehaya but I admit I enjoy seeing him having a hard time.

The anime is a pretty faithful adaptation, actually, as faithful as I've ever seen, I think. They leave bits out but tiny bits. The biggest problem is that the anime only covers like a little of the story. SO MUCH AMAZING SHIT HAS HAPPENED AFTERWARDS. I mean I love the pace of the anime but I'd wished they've reached later stuff - although I'm biased cause later stuff includes things RELEVANT TO MY SHIPPING INTERESTS. But hey, I was happy they included a lot of Kurumi stuff in the last episodes (even a Kento/Kurumi lovely visual moment, because that one of the two ships I'm batshit crazy about in this fandom). I never thought I would get so much Kurumi in the end, lucky me. MAAAAAH GIRL! (okay I might have started loving her cause of her voice in the anime but...)

It's hard to not just love everyone in this series - they are all so lovely.

If he weren't so adorable when he wanted to crawl into a hole and die, it wouldn't be so much fun to torture him. He kind of brings it on himself.

Has a lot happened since where the anime left off then? It didn't seem like that many chapters had been put out since then, so I assumed it had progressed some, but not that much? Either way, I'm putting them onto my reader now! And I'm definitely willing to be convinced into Kento/Kurumi, so long as she's given time to get some closure and the thing with Kento isn't just a rebound, which I think would be unfair to both characters. I want a ship that I can like for its own sake! (But I think I can trust the series to be good about that.)

I honestly don't think I could pick a favorite in this series! Usually, with shoujo anime, I zero in on one or maybe two ships, but with this one... I just love absolutely everyone. ♥ (*curious* What's the other ship you really love with this series?)

yes, he is too cute to exist in his own cuteness, he needs to be poked. (the live action film is kind of a treat in that respect because he suffers so much, ha ha, it's almost cruel ( ... )

I didn't mind the slow pace before Kazehaya and Sawako got together--both for having all the episodes/chapters onhand, but also because it made sense for Sawako's character--but I'm REALLY not averse to hearing that things have been speeding up, because it feels like it took forever and a day to get even this far already! Also, I am a sucker for manga that don't end with the couples (or at least the main couple) getting together, but instead we actually get to see the relationship develop. NOT ENOUGH OF THAT IN SHOUJO ( ... )

GOD ME TOO. I mean I love Kaichou wa Maid-sama so much more now that it's about the relationship and not the getting-together. Ditto Otomen (though Otomen has so many other things going on that it's just easier for it to not focus in the main relationship for a while ( ... )
