Shun is my new favorite in the world, too.

- Max Adler is ten kinds of wonderful and sometimes I can't blame the Karofsky fandom for making him a woobie because Max Adler is so damned delightful.
Also, I've been browsing the Glee shipper secrets tumblr and it's kind of amazing how often Karofsky/Kurt comes up. There are about as many secrets re: the Karofsky/Kurt/Blaine triangle as there are about the whole Puck/Rachel/Finn thing and Puck/Quinn/Sam thing. Some of them have almost kind of made me want to reblog them, just because I went, "Jfc, do people not get that pretty much every Karofsky/Kurt fan down the line agrees that Karofsky needs to get better? Or do they really think that the fans see nothing wrong with the current behavior?" Because whatever you say about their interpretation of Karofsky's actions, there is still a very clear agreement that his current behavior is not okay. (It's kind of pushing me out of the Glee fandom, to be honest. I'm also tired of feeling like I'm fighting an uphill battle against the show for consistency or any kind of satisfactory resolution on anything.)
- I was going to browse tumblr and catch up on lj stuff this morning, but then Noel got me talking about Mannequin 5 again and I thought to myself, oh, that's right! I have that one with the Shun guest appearance to watch! And it's subbed!
TEN MINUTES INTO THIS THING AND SHUN LOVES ME WITH ALL HIS HEART, I'M PRETTY SURE.
I kind of couldn't believe what I was seeing at first. And then it got better.
Excuse me, I have to go be that kind of ridiculous fan, like, forever now.
And yes. Yes, I did need to use all these caps.
The theme is "the strongest date" and Shun's been talking shit the whole time, about how he's ready to battle and he'll definitely be awesome and he wants to be popular!! and all that. He reveals his outfit, explaining that it's a mountain road date, where they take a bike trip together, so he's dressed warmly for it.
AND THEN HE LOVES ME THE BEST.
BECAUSE HE DOES A QUICK DEMONSTRATION.
LET'S SAY MATSUMOTO IS THE GIRL AND I'VE COME TO PICK HER UP.
SHUN LOVES ME.
Then he loves me more by showing how, well, if she's cold, he'll take off his jacket and drape it around her shoulders to keep her warm.
Jun... just kind of goes along with it. As Shun drapes his jacket around Jun's shoulders.
Then, Shun continues explaining his outfit!
Jun asks, well, what if she's not cold?
Shun says I'll just take the jacket back then, which he does.
Jun's response? A half-thoughtful, half-scoffing, "Hmmm." that's really easy to misinterpret.
AND THEN JUN'S VERSION OF THE BACKHANDED SUPPORT: "Well, he did put a lot of effort into it, right?"

Seriously, I thought it was going to be awesome that Aiba and Shun were totally sniping at each other, that Jun and Shun were their usual adorable selves talking about how they're friends even outside of work and Jun is at his place fairly often, often enough to know his other friends, then the amusement of the other guest (whose name has been erased from my memory by the sheer awesome of this episode) having stolen Shun's clothes to do this segment.
But then. Shun uses Jun as the demonstration girl in his scenario and I'm just going to be the most ridiculous fangirl ever and you can't stop me.
I LOVE EVERYTHING IN THE WORLD RIGHT NOW.
