Sometimes I find things that make me happy again.
Arashi blogging:
- Jun thought they were going to make him dress in drag for those FASIO commercials and I just. Laughed and laughed, because he knowssss his audience/knows various companies know his audience.
- Whatever, you guys. If you hate Jun's new hair, you can exit to the left over there. His new hair is AMAZING.
I thought people were kidding when they said it look like a rooster! I thought Aiba was exaggerating when he said it looked like a Super Saiyajin! I didn't think it would actually look like he stuck a fork in a lightsocket!
But it does! AND IT IS AMAZING. LOOK AT THIS MOTHERFUCKER, HE IS AMAZING.
I am seriously never going to stop loving this with my whole heart (or laughing until my face hurts) and hoping he keeps it for at least a couple of weeks, that it wasn't just a one-off appearance type of thing.
Tumblr blogging:
- So, I was tumblr hopping and discovered this discussion about Scott and it fills me with happiness to know that HOORAY I AM NOT AS ALONE AS I THOUGHT. I would buy every issue of X-CKSOOSS.
- More tumblr posts re: Young Justice and the Speedy comment makes me laugh like a loon every single time. (I also really truly think Speedy was Jason cosplaying, so he should wear something in tribute to Dick (I’m thinkin’ disco collar), just to pay back the hoodie love. Just. Crying every time I read it. Speedy was Jason cosplaying! That would be amazing.)
- Ten potential love interests for Dick Grayson! This post is AMAAAAAAZING! SO MANY SEXY SEXY SEXY POTENTIAL PAIRINGS. I can't pick a favorite!
Okay, that's a lie. I would totally pick Helena, Karen, Donna (shut up, entire fandom but me! I can ship it if I want to!), and probably Kate Spencer. They would all be so hot. And with the awesome banter! And fun!
P.S. Roy should totally be on that list. Unless you chuck him into the "Babs vs Kory" category and THEN I'M OKAY WITH LEAVING HIM OFF THE LIST. :D
- It's a good thing I never really got into tumblr because otherwise I would have reblog this probably happens to Dick a lot and Bats got greedy, like, a hundred times. I just laugh and laugh and laaaaaugh at them.
Book blogging:
So, yesterday I was out and one of the things I'd tossed onto my ereader on a whim was the first book of The Hunger Games, which I've heard about repeatedly in fandom. Since I wasn't really in a fic mood, I figured I'd start reading it. Cut to about six hours later, when I'd gotten home and holed up on the bed to obsessively keep reading, my eyes are bleary and I am in desperate need of sleep, but I have less than a hundred pages to go!! I wanted to finish!!
Eventually, I put it down and picked it up again today, having just finished it and making it a struggle to not immediately pick up the second book, but I forced myself to take a break. But. *fidgets* I'm diving back in later this afternoon and, uh. *fidgets* There's a fandom for this, right? *fidgets* Because I'm not sure only three books will hold me, not with all the ~*feelings*~ I am having over these characters.
