All I gotta say is, once Luffy learns how to use his Haoshaku Haki properly, he'll be so dangerous in the future when combined with his crazy attacks.

Seriouly. He's going to be terrifying. Between his devil fruit ability and his "gear" leveling up and now his haoshaku haki, he's going to be EVEN MORE OF A MONSTER. The Marines are right to fear him, just not for the right reasons. Yet. XD

I was screaming SHAAAAAAANKS, too! But it's hilarious to think that he and Buggy are the same age/from the same generation, because Buggy always acted so immaturely that I tend to think he's younger than Shanks. And I totally want an interaction scene between them, too!

I'm really concerned that Luffy is just basically going to be out cold for all of this epicness to come. I feel like an easy way to get out of this situation would be to have Shanks return the hat to Luffy when he's still unconscious, so Luffy won't feel like he reneged on their "promise" from so long ago.

But seriously, Shanks looked SO BADASS when he blocked Sakazuki's attack. ♥

(Between this and Bleach and Fullmetal Alchemist, it's like all my favorite shounen manga are peaking at the same time SO MUCH EXCITEMENTTTT)

It's hard to believe that Buggy was part of Roger's crew way back in the day, along with Shanks. I mean, hell, he's even got a Devil's Fruit ability and he's still such a low-ranking member! XD On the other hand, I'm pretty sure Haoshaku Haki > Devil's Fruit, especially if it's enough to DAMAGE THE AREA AROUND YOU just because your mood is so intense. *SHAMELESS SHANKS FANGIRLING

Seriously, Shanks has been out of the picture so long, HE DESERVES ALL THE SPOTLIGHT (and hordes of fangirls) HE CAN GET.

That's true, I've forgotten that since the Strawhats have been scattered, we really haven't seen the whole team in an enormously long time. But I agree that revealing all this stuff to a conscious Luffy would definitely be anticlimactic. Despite this series' ridiculous length, there's still so much more to expand on and reveal!

(FMA is definitely hurtling towards some sort of resolution! Whether or not it's the actual end of the series, I wouldn't know, but it's definitely at a huge turning point right now. And where exactly were you in Bleach? I don't want to give too much away, but like FMA, it's at a pretty epic battle point right now.)

I've been waiting for so long for Shanks to come back that it's a little hard to complain about it, especially when it's such an epic re-entrance! But we'll see how everyone reacts to it in a couple of weeks when the shock has worn off some

before this chapter came out, i was talking to my friend, when shanks going to appear since w/beard already died...and then when this chapter came out i was like OMG SHANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I"VE COME TO STOP THIS WAR!!! WAS SO COOOOOLLLLLLLL!!!! but i'm kinda worried, if shanks going to be the next to go...*shivers*

Also also SHANKS IS PURE AWESOME. Man, bet no one saw that Shanks was gonna pop up anytime soon huh? And despite Coby being a marine (in training), he still protectd him awwww Shanks ;w;

Plus did you read the mangastream scanlation or another site? Because idk if Coby hearing different voices in his head means that the marines are being controlled, or that they're so bent in beating the pirates themselves. :|
