I am totally confused now when someone mentions "Bones" out of context. These days, due to my Star Trek fixation, Bones=Dr. McCoy. However, it also means that show I find very enjoyable, with its titular character, who is also called "Bones". Which means I've read some very confusing LJ conversations before realizing which Bones they were talking about.
Also, Roger Federer won the French Open! *dances around* YAY! And while there were a few moments that I was concerned, he beat Robin Soderling in straight sets. So now Roger has won his first French Open and is now tied with Pete Sampras for most Grand Slam wins at 14. \o/ I spent most of my morning over at the freak-out post over at
ontd_tennis. Heh.
In sadder news, it sounds like Rafa Nadal may have some very serious problems with his knees, specifically his right one. (He's had knee issues for awhile, but had still been able to play.) He'd already pulled out of the Queens tournament, which is the smaller tournament that leads up to Wimbledon in England, but now even his attendance at Wimbledon is in doubt. I've heard talk of possible surgery tomorrow, even. Eeeep. I won't know what to do with myself if Rafa can't make Wimbledon.
