I just got to rewatch this episode without glitching every other moment, so I think I'm ready to talk about it now. Although I fear a great deal of what I'm about to say is massively personally biased crack!

Because this is either the episode where Starbuck goes insane and commits suicide, or this is the episode where she commits suicide under a divine directive and is mystically returned as is wont to happen in religious tales.

This is late because my boy (who I love, I really, really do) decided that Monday would be the best ever day to pick me up from work and say, “Hope you don’t mind, I had to unplug your computer.” Anyway, I’ve seen it now and I liked sections of it but didn’t really feel it held together as a cohesive episode.

So, I read the summary asta77 posted of the podcast for the Eye of Jupiter. Apparently Ron Moore believes that Kara is somewhat like Ellen Tigh and that she really does sleep around and cheat on Sam. Well, it's been a day since I've seen it and I still don't really have anything to say. I mean, it was nice and all. I'm not a big Kat fan, but I really felt for her in the episode and was touched by her death. Though I felt the sudden insertion of an ex-romantic entanglement was slightly cliche and unnecessary.
