acostilow gave me Doctor Who. I'm covering Classic Who, New Who and the spin off Torchwood.
The first character I fell in love with: I could say the Fourth Doctor, but I'd be lying through my teeth. I liked him, don't get me wrong, but my first love was K-9. He might have been a little robot, but he didn't just talk in beeps and tweets like R2D2 did. K-9 had a voice, and more than that while he had all the loyalty of a real dog he also had personality. He could get snarky. I still love him.
The character I never expected to love as much as I do now: Ianto Jones. I barely noticed him the first three episodes. After "Cyberwoman" it took me sometime to get over his having been hiding a Cyberman in the basement. I fell for him hook, line and sinker with the second season episode "To the Last Man." Now, I'm one of those "Nine Hysterical Women on the internets."
The character everyone else loves that I don't: I'm never sure if there are characters "everyone" feels one way about. I'm no fan of Rose Tyler, the Tenth Doctor or Gwen Cooper and I know they have fans.
The character I love that everyone else hates: Again, I'm never sure if there are characters "everyone" feels one way about. I love the Sixth Doctor, Adric and Owen Harper. I don't believe any of them are popular.
The character I used to love but don't any longer: While I can't say as I ever exactly loved Rose Tyler or Gwen Cooper I can say I went from finding them okay to hating them deeply.
The character I would shag anytime: Captain Jack Harkness!

Which character I am most like: God, I never know how to answer that question. When I was a kid I identified with K-9 and Sarah Jane. He was little. She was curious. Now... I've tested out as Jack on quizzes, but I feel some kinship with Ianto and Tosh too.
My deep, dark fandom secret: I once dressed up as Romana I from the story "The Stones of Blood?" Or, maybe, I have a life size stuffed K-9?

1. Dragons: It all started with Puff.
2. Darien Windsor/Kildarien Shadowbane: fleta created him. I married him.
3. Daniel Dancing Eyes/Daniel Sky/Deiniol ap Don: I created him when it was still acceptable to describe him as an imaginary friend.
4. Doctor Who: I've been a fan since I was four near as I can tell.
5. Doyle/The Darkness (Merry Gentry): I loved him from the first book in the series.
6. Detectives: Sherlock Holmes, Philip Marlowe, Jack Fleming or Harry Dresden I love them.
7. Dresden Files: The first couple of books I wasn't sure how I felt, but when I read Grave Peril I knew it was love. Michael Carpenter and Thomas Raith in one book.
8. Descendants of Darkness/Yami no Matsuei: I love the anime. I own the anime. I just wish I had all of the English language translated manga.
9. Danielle (The Flight of Dragons): Danielle showed me a woman could be a ranger with style, and she had all of that beautiful red hair I wanted growing up.
10. Duncan/Tessa (Highlander): I loved them so much that part of me has never gotten over her death.
