Strange Dreams

I know it's been forever since I've posted but I had this strange dream last night which has inspired me to post (I guess since it involved many of you livejournalers). In my dream we were all back at Houghton hanging out in the campus center but underneath the cafeteria staircase rather than in the corner on couches. The usual group of people was there: Scott, Dutch, Grimm, Brian, Em, Rosa, Barry, Mindy, and I think Joshy. I'm not exactly sure what we were doing other than hanging out under the stairs like a bunch of trolls when in walk (through the bank entrance) Katie Baker and Alice. Alice had dyed her hair about 3 times it's normal brightness so it was an extremely brilliant orange. Her reasoning was that she was planning on representing the homecoming pumpkin, and this all seemed logical to the rest of us. The other thing that happened was that when Katie Baker walked in and Barry, Rosa, and I all screamed: "Katie Baker!!!" She got rather upset and informed us, indignantly, that her name was no longer Katie Baker but Rachel Baker. She had changed it for some unknown reason, and the rest of the group looked at Barry, Rosa, and I, like we were idiots for not knowing this fact. I could not cope with the fact that Katie had changed her name to Rachel particularly because it just does not have the same joyful ring to it. I was quite distraught over this and kept thinking how dull the name Rachel seemed in comparison to Katryn. I can't remember much of the dream after that.

I think I must have had this dream since I talked with Rosa on the phone yesterday to plan our trip to Houghton for homecoming... hence making me think of all my old Houghton friends.
I'm preparing myself for a weekend of feeling both nostalgic and completely out-of-place.
