Time for a Post
I think it's time for a new post since I have not posted in some time.
Life's been a bit of a blur since Christmas. Packed with visiting family, selling toys, and baking cookies. Then it was Nancy's shower, New Year's, and Nancy's wedding. I spent the week in Lancaster with Nancy's family which allowed me to be part of the wedding planning, etc. and included making + decorating 150+ cookies as wedding favors... (seriously folks, I should go into the bakery business). The wedding ceremony was beautiful, as was Nancy, but it was a long week and I was glad to come home and sleep in my own bed. (We also got to visit good friends of ours on the way back home so that was nice). The only sad thing about the whole week is that it was the first New Year's in a very long time that I did not spend with Nathan.
My apartment is slowly being dug out since my return (late Saturday night) and I have enjoyed being back at work. However, January is such a shocking change from the Christmas season. There were only 15 customers today and it was nice outside! Taking inventory all day makes the day go faster though.
I also enjoy going through all the new (2008) book and toy catalogs that have been arriving in the mail!
