Snow
I am very excited about the snow that is coming our way! They say by 1pm we will be getting an inch an hour!! Whoohoo! I shall put on my boots and do a little snow dance and perhaps build a little snowman while the neighbors look at me like I'm nuts.
I was watching the news this morning and on the listing of closings/cancellations it read this:
"Meriden Ski Club"- event cancelled"
Does anyone else think that's a little backward?
A few entries later it read,
"Power, Praise and Prayer- cancelled"
That one's a little bothersome, I think we should be praising God more for the snow!!! (Okay, I understand it's probably the name of some church group but if you didn't know that it's a little odd).
