Strange happenings in my dreams... and other updates...
Lately I've been having rather vivid dreams (not bad, just very detailed) and remembering them, which is something that doesn't happen often in my life. For example, last week I had this extremely strange and detailed dream of the store being robbed, I can still retell the details and last night I had this detailed dream of being back at Houghton (or at least most of it was at Houghton). At any rate I woke up this morning with this really strong desire to a: be back at Houghton doing outdoor rec. stuff b: take my sister-in-law shopping at Old Navy. I'm not sure how the two are related but that's what I felt like/ feel like doing. Perhaps I'll have another strange dream and post about it and then one of you can interpret them for me. Ok?
In other Becca news (I know you are all on the edge of your seats...):
*Mom and I booked our hotel rooms for the night before the marathon and did a long training walk. I am SO excited about going to Acadia! I think Nathan is excited about the king bed in the hotel room...
*I have been debating about what to do for a job this year as my grant position at the school would not be starting until November and Emily, my partner in crime, will not be returning because of that. So I was planning on just staying at the store full-time for the year and then this morning I get an e-mail from this place I sent my resume to last year, telling me that a teacher's assistant position was open and am I interested. I replied and said I was so we'll see what becomes of that. It might be a good position to have for one year and I can still do the toy store on the side... we just have to find out about pay for the teacher's assistant position.
*California is a long way away but Azusa Pacific has some good grad programs that I'd be interested in... what do you think the chances are that all are friends and family will move to California with us?
