Somehow I managed to time my walk to be just in between the storms this morning (it was sprinkling a little when I started then cleared up and as I got home the storms were moving in again). I am loving my new pedometer. It counts my steps, mph, total distance, calories burned, and time. It also has a seven-day memory. All in all a good investment. The next investment may be a fuel belt of some sort. I'm on the fence about that one... I usually don't carry any water except on my longer walks (over 4 miles) and then I carry a water bottle which is a little annoying to hold in my hand the whole time... I'm afraid if I get a fuel belt my waist area will be all sweaty though... plus there's the money factor... can't decide if it's really worth it. A little over a month to go before the half-marathon. I think I'm more excited about going to Acadia Nat'l Park than the walk itself!
