I got boots yesterday! They are really comfortable. I'm not 100% sure about the fact that they're part suede/part fake-leather, but they look ok and feel good, so I'll live with it. It just means I need to find the stuff we have for waterproofing and protecting suede at some point.

I had a very productive or unproductive day at work today, depending on how you look at it :) According to the University of Otago, today (Tuesday) is a public holiday (instead of having a Monday off for Otago Anniversary day earlier in the year, we get a 5 day Easter) but I had to work anyway because we're really short staffed at the moment.
